ABOUT THE FILM

'Art - An Unexpected Vocation' is the story of an artist who is so focused on attaining success that he loses everything, and is left destitute and homeless. It's on the streets that he finds redemption and inspiration from the unlikeliest of people: another homeless man named Louie. From Louie, he learns how to seize each moment and find happiness in all things, which is what ironically leads him to the inner success he always desired.

Michael Antonakos-  Lead Actor/Writer/ Producer. 

Michael is a Greek/Canadian (Born in Greece) performer, and now first time writer/filmmaker. He is currently the star of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey; Ubisoft’s most successful ‘Assassin’s Creed’ video game in history.  Michael been a professional actor for the last 17 years, from film & television, to theatre, voice, and videogames.

Marianna Phung Director, Vietnamese/ Canadian, born as a refugee in the Philippines, was the perfect choice to direct this film. Marianna has just won the Toronto 48 hour film festival’s award for “Best Director”, and is one of Toronto and Canada’s brightest young upcoming female directors.
